My husband and I have dealt with a sunshade on our 2017 Ford Explorer that wouldn't shut after having the headliner taken down repeatedly trying to find a leak. We brought the vehicle to Ford who told us that we needed to replace the rails and it would cost approximately $1,000.00!!! We are an elderly retired couple and certainly don't have an extra $1,000.00!!! We were told that Rio Imports had expirence with sunroofs. We were hoping that they could get the shade closed and it wouldn't be so hot inside the car. Not only did they get it closed, they got the sunroof working again!!! It didn't need new rails, it just needed to be reprogramed!!! They saved us at l east $800.00!!! THANK YOU ROGER!!! It is sooo nice to find an honest technician!!!

We took our Nissan Rogue here a few weeks ago. We initially took it to the Nissan Dealership, told our story to them, and they told us the next day it was the alternator. After we changed the alternator, we still had the same issue. My brother recommended Roger at Rio’s, saying he’s been going to this business for numerous years. It’s been three weeks since he repaired our car, and we have had no issues!!! We are happy to work this family business!!!!

I had taken my vehicle to a mechanic who misdiagnosed the issue and would not work on Imports. Roger’s shop was recommended by another mechanic whom my daughter utilizes and trusts (also does not work on Imports.) Roger assessed the problem and had my vehicle completed within the same day. He also had factured in his quote the cost of a part he thought he may have needed yet he did not have to utilize. I appreciated his honesty to deduct this from the original quote. My family and I came down to FL to visit for the holidays. On the way down we were having some issues with our Tahoe. Once we got into Clearwater we searched for a shop and found Rio. I recently took my Mercedes Benz SL550 to Rio. One of the Hydraulics operating the convertible top was in-op. I immediately felt at home talking to Roger as a service manager/owner, but also as a personal advisor on other issues concerning the SL models. Rogers team completed the repair within the estimated time frame, which was critical to me. He also offered for his son who also works there to drive me at home, which was several miles away. I have own several Porsche 911's, and MB SL350, 500, and now the 550 models. during the past 30 years in St. Pete, I have taken my cars to several "High In" European repair shops. Bought a used vehicle and took it to the BMW dealer to check out a strong exhaust smell. They gave me a list of $4400 worth of recommended repairs (one being $750 to change the o ring on the dipstick tube and another $700 to change the oil pan gasket), none of them having to do with the smell.Roger called me within a few hours of dropping off the car at Rio and informed me of the real issue, quoted an incredibly fair parts and labor price, and had the car ready the next day. I wish I would have found Roger's shop as soon as I bought my car back in January of last year. I have a 2015 Audi A4 that was hit while I was parked at work. Roger completely repaired the dent in the bumper and repainted it in three days. You can't even tell there was ever a dent. He also took care of my 45K service (which came out way cheaper than what the dealership quoted). It's also nice to be a female and not feel taken advantage of when needing car repairs/maintenance. Funny story...so Roger approaches me one day as he notices my BMW parked next to his vehicle in a shopping center. He introduces himself and hands me his business card letting me know if I need anything done to give him a try. I generally toss those types of things out, but I figured it wouldnt hurt to hold onto it. About a month later my break pad replacement notification comes on. I make some phone calls and everyone is charging between $400-$500 just to replace my 2 front break pads. I then remember Roger's business card I left in my center console. I give him a call and he charges me a lot less than everyone else and guarantees me that I will get my vehicle back the same day. It seemed to good to be true so I checked the Google reviews and sure enough it was excellent which made me feel comfortable trusting him with my car. I contacted Rio to work on my Jeep’s AC after finding out that my car needed a condenser replaced. I was told that my car had a new system and few shops could service the AC besides the dealer. Found Rio and Roger on the internet. Reviews read well so I decided to give him a try. Have now used him twice in two months and can’t say enough good - honest, does what he says he will in the time quoted. Historically i’ve used a dealer for repairs but Rio has ALL my future business (hopefully there’s not a lot but...)!

Rio Imports Repair is the only auto repair shop I would ever consider taking my car to in Pinellas county!This shop has an excellent reputation for many - many years as being the place that even dealers bring their cars to that their mechanics can’t fix! They have been a family owned business since the beginning and I actually feel like family when I’m there. They are honest and fair with their pricing, unlike the dealerships! I own a C300 Mercedes and I will never take my car back to the Mercedes dealerships in the area ever again! Go see Roger and get ready to be treated honestly!!!

I have a 2009 Audi A4, and we had an incident where part of a garage ceiling crashed down upon my hood and passenger-side fender. I normally only take my car to the dealership, but heard really great things about Rio Imports.I was very impressed with the result. The quote was less than the dealership, it took them exactly the amount of time quoted, and my car looks incredible! You can't even tell there was ever damage, their craftsmanship is superb. And to top it off, they detailed my car as well. My car looks brand new.Big thanks to Roger and the crew at Rio!
